Dr. Mallory Millender is a retired Professor of History at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. While pursuing his doctorate in French, he completed his dissertation on Haiti. At a very significant moment in time, Dr. Millender will be speaking with Carl about the rich and somewhat troubling history of this country that has recently been ravaged by the earthquake that has shaken the country to its foundations. Dr. Millender will discuss many facts about this country including the role America and other countries played in the “development” of this country that now holds much promise for the future. Be sure to tune in. You’ll discover some things about Haiti that most of us haven’t known!
