Dr. Cashin previously discussed her captivating book, The Agitator’s Daughter, with Carl. With the book giving details about her family legacy, Dr. Cashin returns this time to discuss ways to build your own family legacy.

Valerie Hicks-Powe is an attorney, author and motivational teacher. Borrowing from her legal expertise, she will share some insights regarding sexual harassment on the job. Amy Hall is the Executive Director of Safe Homes, a place where abused spouses/children can find refuge. She’ll discuss abuse and ways to escape it.

Elise Shore is an attorney who has served with the U.S. Justice Department and now serves with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund. She will discuss voter protections. JyNelle Handy is an insurance representative. She’ll help us gain a better understanding of ways in which to select the policy that is right for us.

Carl will contrast platforms of various political candidates. Carl will lead a discussion on the topic “It’s Interesting How We Bloom.”
