Dr. David Hess is currently serving as Interim Dean of the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) and Interim Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs and Integration at Augusta University. He is also Chairman of the MCG Department of Neurology. I spoke with him about several health matters, including causes and treatments of various illnesses and the desegregation of the Medical College of Georgia as well as their ongoing mission to include more people of color as students of their various schools and departments. The historical account was rich.

Later we’ll look at a possible way to beat the cigarette habit in the future.
