Feb. 17 – Georgia State Capitol (1st hour); Dr. Paul Zak (2nd hour)
Cats: This Week's Guests and Topics|On February 10, I visited the state capitol in Atlanta. Along with a number of others (two busloads), including high school members of Youth Leadership of Augusta, I learned more about what our state elected officials do and that many of our youth are aware of what’s going on in the world and are able to articulate that awareness. Listen in as I share Augusta Day at the Capitol which was sponsored, in part, by Senator Edward Tarver.
Dr. Paul Zak is a pioneer in the field of neuroeconomics. Trained in neurobiology and economics and teaching at Loma Linda University and Claremont Graduate University, Dr. Zak brings an enlightening perspective on why we behave the way we do in economically tough times. My discussion will come from his article, Mind Over Money, as we prepare to hear directly from the doctor himself on Thursday.
