There are many reasons that people embrace particular political values. To be associated with a particular group, to be loyal to a particular friend who’s affiliated with a specific party… Carl continues to open up a discussion of what shapes our political values and what may prompt some to change their values.

On Memorial Day, Carl interviewed two Tuskegee Airmen from two different generations and let the community hear a conversation that he had at the home of Ms. Jackson, wife of deceased Colonel Alan Jackson as she and her adult daughters talked about life as the wife and daughters of a soldier. One of the daughters helped add even more richness to the discussion as she talked about her own experience in the military. Carl shares the rest of that conversation.
